Our flagship program, the NY Tech Meetup (NYTM) has been a monthly staple for the NYC tech ecosystem since 2004! Co-founded by Scott Heiferman, Meetup.com founder, and Dawn Barber, NYTM began its life in a meeting room of meetup.com’s offices with only four attendees. It is now the world's largest meetup group with over 60,000 members! 

At each event, we provide time for networking amongst the tech community members and feature tech demoes by a diverse set of founders, entrepreneurs, and CEOs. It’s important for us to showcase underrepresented founders, so be sure to attend our Immigrant Founders’ Demo Night, Developing Pride Night, Black Womens’ Demo Night, and Womens’ Demo Night events, amongst others.

NYTM is a perfect place to start if you are new to tech, to New York city, or to the New York tech ecosystem. We work hard to cultivate a captivating program that features cutting edge tech. It’s all about meeting new people and showing off amazing tech.
